| What is a JR Kyushu Pass? |
| Here is the perfect
ticket for touring through Kyushu. Japan Rail Kyushu Pass is an
economical rail pass to travel
through Kyushu Island. You can ride on Kyushu Shinkansen "Tsubame" (bullet
Trains), "Relay Tsubame" and "Sonic"
limited express trains as many times as you like, and get on and off
any Kyushu Railway Company train freely. Kyushu is full of places to
see:
the hot springs of Beppu, Mt., also in Kumamoto, and stunning Sakurajima
in Kagoshima. Use this ticket fully, and see every aspect of Kyushu
to your heart's content. |

| Who is eligible? |
| 1. |
You are a foreign tourist visiting Japan from "abroad
for sight-seeing" under the entry status of "temporary visitor". |
| 2. |
"Temporary visitor" entry status, according to Japanese Immigration
Law, allows a stay in Japan of 15 days or 90 days for "sight-seeing,
etc."
If you apply for a "stay for sight-seeing" when you enter Japan, entry
personnel will stamp your passport as "temporary
visitor". Only
persons who have a passport bearing this stamp can use a JR Kyushu Pass. |

| How to obtain a JR Kyushu Pass? |
| You must purchase an Exchange Order from an authorized
travel agencies (JR Kyushu Pass Exchange Order cannot be purchased inside Japan). TTA, Inc. is
one of a few authorized sales agents for Japan's National Railway Group. After
you arrive in Japan, you turn in the Exchange Order to receive the actual JR Kyushu Pass. |

Kokura, Hakata, Kumamoto, Nishi-kagoshima, Nagasaki, Beppu, Oita, and Miyazaki

| 1. |
The pass may only be used by the holder specified on
it. |
| 2. |
The holder must carry his or her passport when using
the pass. |
| 3. |
The pass
is valid for ordinary car reserved and open seating on Kyushu Railways
Company Shinkansen, limited express trains and express trains, and open
seating on local trains (including local express trains). |
| 4. |
Excluding bus lines and the international BEETLE II
ferry line. |
| 5. |
The pass does not apply to sleeping berths or the
Shinkansen. |
| 6. |
Rent-a-cars are available at the train station at a
special discount. For details, please consult station personnel. |

to reserve your seat assignment. |
| Seat reservations can
be made without additional payment (see details at the link
below). To make a reservation, apply at any Travel Service Center or a
Reservation Office (Midori-no-madoguchi) at a JR station, or at a
sales office of a JR-associated travel agency. There, show your JR

You must turn in your Exchange Order to obtain
the actual JR Kyushu Pass within three (3) months from the date the Exchange Order was issued.
Once the pass has a starting date written on it, the date cannot be changed.
