| What is a JR West Pass? |
| The best way to enjoy your pleasant trip in Western Japan!
To visit various famous sightseeing locations, this pass allows unlimited use
of designated trains operated by Japan Rail West. |

Kansai Area Rail Pass,
which is primarily a local rail pass in and around the "Osaka" and
l Kansai Metropolitan Areas. |

| 2. |
Sanyo Area Rail Pass, which includes the "bullet train". The Sanyo
Area Rail Pass is the only pass which covers the Nozomi, one of the fastest
trains in the world. It covers the Osaka-Okayama-Hiroshima-Hakata areas. |

| Who is eligible? |
| 1. |
You are a foreign tourist visiting Japan from "abroad
for sight-seeing" under the entry status of "temporary visitor". |
 |
| 2. |
"Temporary visitor" entry status,
according to Japanese Immigration Law, allows a stay in Japan of 15 days or
90 days for "sight-seeing,
etc."If you apply for a "stay for sight-seeing" when
you enter Japan, entry personnel will stamp your passport as "temporary
visitor". Only persons who have a passport bearing this stamp can use a JR East Pass. |

JR West Kansai Area Pass |

| This pass can be used for traveling to Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Nara, Himeji
and other sightseeing places in the Kansai area via local trains
(rapid-service and new rapid-service trains can also be used). |

| One-day and Four-day (consecutive days) passes are available. |
 |
| These passes allow for unrestricted boarding and un-boarding,
within the designated area, of non reserved-seating local trains
(including rapid-service and new rapid-service trains) operated by
JR West. |
 |
| These passes can be used for boarding Shinkansen super
express trains. When boarding a train other than a Shinkansen
super express train, such as a limited express or express train,
it is necessary to separately pay the applicable charges for these
and other trains. |

| JR West Sanyo Area Pass |
 |

| This pass can be used for traveling to Osaka, Okayama,
Hiroshima, Hakata and other sightseeing places in the Sanyo area via
"Nozomi"(series 500) and other Sanyo Shinkansen super express
trains. |

| Four-day and Eight-day (consecutive
days) passes are available. |
 |
| These passes allow for unrestricted
boarding and UN-boarding, within the designated area, of the following
trains operated by JR West. "Nozomi", "Hikari"
and "Kodama" Sanyo Shinkansen super express trains,
"Haruka" limited express trains, ordinary cars of local
trains (both reserved and free-seating), and the Miyajima ferry
line in Hiroshima. * When using reserved seats, you must obtain
a reserved seat ticket (at no extra charge) from a JR West ticket
office "Green Window" or a TiS travel center prior to
boarding the train. |

| How to obtain a JR West Pass? |
| You must purchase an Exchange Order prior to departure for Japan
(the Exchange Order cannot be purchased inside Japan). After you arrive in Japan, you turn in
the Exchange Order to receive the actual JR West Pass at an applicable JR West station
that has a JR West Pass exchange office. |

| JR West exchange offices: Kansai Airport Station, Kyoto Station, Shin-Osaka Station,
Osaka Station, Sannomiya Station, Okayama Station, Hiroshima Station,
Shimonoseki Station, Kokura Station, and Hakata Station.

| How
to reserve your seat assignment. |
| Seat reservations can be made without
additional payment (see details at the link below). Seat availability
cannot be guaranteed otherwise. To make a reservation, apply at a Travel Service
Center (View Plaza) or a reservation office (midori-no-madoguchi) at a JR West
station. There, show your
Pass, and obtain your reserved-seat ticket before

| You must turn in your Exchange Order to obtain the actual JR West Pass within three(3)
months from the date the Exchange Order was issued. Once the pass has a starting
date written on it, the date cannot be changed. |
